I just came across your site last night, and have not been able to sleep. I was at the school from 1947-48-49 I was released to my sister in late 1949, if you check the records. I worked first at the office a short distant from the white house. One day I came to work and was accused of stealing a $5.00 script-book. No matter what I said I was taken to the White House and beaten so bad I was put in the infirmary, I lost count how many times they hit me on the bottom, arm legs and the head. I was in that hell-hole five or six times. I join the marines after I left that hell and to this day I don't know why I was sent there.

I had a step-mother who did everything she could to get rid of me and my sisters and I was the last. I donít know if you were there when there was a boy called preacher Murphy. He was caught smoking and they said he killed a boy there but we never heard what the boys name was. Iíd seen Murphy on Monday when I left the sewing room and never saw him again after that. But getting back to the $5.00 script-book, it was found a month later in raincoat in the office where I had worked. I remember Dozier very well and I have never met a man more brutal. I may be wrong but I believe he got his rocks off seeing how much pain he could inflict before we passed out from the beatings.

It been so many years ago I donít know if you were there at the time I was.

ps: I plan to order my records. I remember the Judge had the same last name as me.
