TO MY ABUSERS Because of the way you treated me as a young boy, I have now lived most of my life alone. But for some strange and unknown reason, you have made me stronger -more strong than most people I know. The brutality you bestowed upon me as a child in the orphanage has given me a very compassionate heart. I have more compassion than most other people I know. Thank God you made me wiser. I am a lot wiser than most other people I know. Because of you, I have become a very alert adult - way more alert than most other people I know. You taught me to stay on guard and never relax. I now live my life more on guard than most other people I know. But you also taught me how to feel unhappy - much more unhappy than most other people I know. Now I do not know how to love, laugh, smile, joke and fool around or just have a good time, like all the others I know. But I do have one thing up on everyone else. I can cry way more tears - way more than all the others I know.
